Kingston Midsummer FeteMonday 23 June 2014
After a year off the Kingston Village Fete has come back with a bang.
There were lots of activities for all to join in with including the old favourites such as Chase the Ace, Bouncy Castle, Skittles as well as new editions of Zumba, Country Dancing, and the welcome return of the tug o'war which was between Iford and Kingston villages. Won by the stout yeomans of Kingston this year.
There was even an outdoor spa bath supplied by Giles Leisure who sponsored the event.
The BBQ and stalls seemed to raise quite a few pounds contribution to the upkeep of the village hall. Details in the next issue of the KN which will include a colour spread of images from the day
